So why Carson City, Nevada?
When the conversation began about Hope Community Church (Reno, NV) launching a church plant, the first question was an obvious one – WHERE?
Michael and Denise Lieberknecht knew they wanted to stay in Northern Nevada. They loved the people & the community, and could not imagine doing ministry anywhere else. So they began to pray… and pretty quickly, God made it clear that Carson City was the answer.
The more that was learned about Carson City’s spiritual climate and community needs, the more this decision was affirmed. It seemed as though God has been preparing the city for renewal, so the more healthy, vibrant churches to partner with Him – the better!
