We are creating space for people to dwell with God and find a place to belong.

Our Mission Spelled Out

Make Disciples

We are committed to seeing people encounter and give their lives to Jesus through the teaching of the scriptures. We partner with God in creating opportunities for people to embrace the good news that Jesus has made a new way of living that leads to fullness of life.

Mature Disciples

We are committed to seeing lives genuinely changed by the Gospel and transformed to reflect Jesus in their everyday life. God is not content to leave us where we are at, even though he meets us there with arms wide open.

Multiply Disciples

We are committed to helping all believers become ambassadors of Jesus, capable of effectively articulating the gospel. We will bring Jesus into our personal relationships and contexts, reach our neighborhoods through community groups, and leverage our position as a church to seek renewal in our city and beyond.

Core Values

Spirit and Truth

We strive to communicate and live out the unchanging truth of the Scriptures, in a way that everyone in our city can understand. We yield to the Spirit’s work in our individual and communal lives.

John 4:23-24 & 2 Timothy 3:14-17

Transformational Community

We live in a culture of immense individualism and superficiality. We choose to engage in deep and meaningful relationships that reflect the heart of God–a family. Life change happens when we give safe space for people to walk through life with others.

John 15:12-13 & Galatians 6:2

Wholeness

Discipleship to Jesus means engaging our whole selves in this pursuit; healthy rhythms are linked to spiritual maturity and growth. We cannot love our neighbors like ourselves if we aren’t forming and caring for our whole selves.

Romans 12:1-2 & 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24

Participatory Body

People who follow Jesus are called to be contributors rather than solely consumers. Each person sees themselves as a valuable “organ” who is growing in their gifting and involvement in the life of the church. We want to see people bringing the gospel to the world around them.

Ephesians 4:1-16 & 1 Peter 2:5

Unity

The church is called to be united, even in the midst of our differences and diversity. This comes with recognizing that no one is perfect and, when we embody the humility of Christ, we desire the good of others. It is through our unity, motivated by love, that shows the world who Jesus truly is. That was his ultimate prayer for us prior to his crucifixion.

John 13:34-35, John 17:20-23 & Philippians 2:1-4

Immense Generosity

A healthy church is a generous church. Thus, we want to be a community that reflects the lavish nature of God in generous giving of our time, talent and resources rather than holding onto things too tightly.

Luke 12:34 & 2 Corinthians 9:6-7
