Discipleship to Jesus means engaging our whole selves to this pursuit. We cannot love our neighbors like ourselves if we aren’t forming and caring for our whole selves.

Pete Scazzero, author of Emotionally Healthy Spirituality and founder of Emotionally Healthy Discipleship, states that you cannot dissect emotional health from spiritual maturity. They go hand in hand. And in the same way, we are embodied beings so we can’t separate our physical well being either.
At The Dwelling, we want to see people thrive on every level. Our prayer is for families to be restored, marriages to be strengthened, individuals set free from addiction, and those who are hurt to grow in their ability to rise above their circumstances through the grace of God and power of the Spirit.
